A Christian church that began on the upper floor of an office building, The Upperroom Bible Church is the result of a divine call to service by its founder and pastor Dr. Herbert H. Rowe. Under his leadership the organization strives to “reach and teach” people of all types who want to celebrate God and receive his blessings. The Upperroom Bible Church presents regular Sunday services as well as several prayer sessions each week. It also reaches out to the public online through the dozens of teaching series posted on its website.
The Upperroom is located in a 30,000-square-foot facility in New Orleans, Louisiana, complete with a state of the art worship space, a Life Center, a Christian academy, and a preschool. It also operates a satellite location in the northern suburb of Slidell. The church’s impact resonates far beyond greater New Orleans, thanks to its various community outreach and global mission projects.
